JD Power and Associates has released their 2007 Dependability Study results. This, as you may recall, is a measure of problems over 3 years of vehicle ownership.
This year Cadillac has come in 3rd behind the tied-for-first-place Lexus and…are you sitting down?...Buick.
Industry Average problems per 100 vehicles in this study was 216.
Lexus and Buick came in with a score of 145.
Cadillac came in with 162.
The rest of the top 5 brands are:
Mercury – 168
Honda – 169
Individual Cadillac models of note are:
CTS – 2nd place Entry Premium Car
Deville/DTS – 3rd place Large Premium Car
Escalade EXT – 3rd place Large Premium MAV
Cadillac competitors didn’t fare too well this year with the following scores:
Mercedes – 212
BMW – 182
Audi – 234
Jaguar – 197
Lincoln – 182
