Cadillac is making a splash-y return into the SCCA World Challenge series, which they exited with the end of production of the first generation CTS-V sedan with the introduction of the CTS-V Coupe race car.
The Cadillac team will debut the car in competition in St. Petersburg, FL.
We all know that one of the major differences between the LSA in the CTS-V and the LS9 in the ZR-1 is the larger capacity blower bolted to the mega-Vette.
What would happen if you reverse engineered the ZR-1’s blower onto the CTS-V’s engine?
How about an additional 130hp.
Fastlaneturbo.com did exactly this and you can watch their dyno run below.
Cadillac has announced pricing today of the CTS-V Sportwagon. With destination, the new king of wagons will price out at $62,990. This completes the trifecta of V-variants of the CTS line.
This is probably the most badass version of the CTS while also being the one most likely to sell in triple-digits per year (i.e. nobody’s going to buy one).
You have to hand it to Cadillac for having the guts to build this model, though.
