Cadillac says ‘no’ to Ultra Sedan

December 27, 2006 - 12:02 pm

SixteenAll of you waiting, checkbooks in hand, for Cadillac to release their $100k-plus uber-sedan are out of luck.

According to Automotive News, GM has officially put the project on the shelf after spending quite a bit of time judging the market. Ultimately, they decided the world isn’t quite ready for a Maybach / Rolls Royce / Bentley competitor from a US automaker.

So, no production version of the Sixteen concept after all.

This is one of the biggest mistakes in my life time (50yrs) for a US auto
maker this was no no lose situation if nothing else body style alone would have it a best seller. Im going to end now its disappointing to say the least.
